As part of our commitment to help customers achieve these digital records, we have introduced our industry-leading I-Auditor Service for our Fire Door Supply and Fit clients. The I-Auditor is a robust audit process and can be viewed from anywhere, at any time, throughout or after the installation. As all our installers use I-Auditor for every Fire Door this means we maintain a consistent approach to installations and can provide evidence of quality and compliance within the BM Trada approved installer accreditation.

Fire Door Data Pins
Our Fire Data Pins, available for a nominal additional fee, use virtual black box technology to provide real-time information on every single fire door, kept on a secure cloud-based server, which means no loss of data in the event of fire, natural disaster or human error.
More robust and durable than a label and with no moving parts, pins are installed into the hinged side of the door blade, just above the central ironmongery at point of manufacture and record the entire life cycle of the fire door. Pins can be scanned for inspection using any compatible smartphone, without the need for additional hardware
BM Trada Q-Mark Plugs
Certification to the BM Trada scheme gives our social housing clients a reliable way of identifying that the fire doorsets are certified.
All Permadoor 30 Minute Fire Doorsets are checked to make sure they are manufactured under the strict requirements of the BM TRADA scheme and come equipped with a unique and innovative feature, the BM Trada Q-Mark composite fire door manufacture scheme identification plugs, which are securely fixed into each door, ensuring full traceability. They denote the fire integrity period, that the doorset is factory hung and that Permadoor has fitted the glazing.
As a certified member of the BM Trada Q-Mark fire door installation scheme we are also able to plug the doorset to evidence a Q-Mark certified installer has fitted it. This is far more effective than attaching a label to a door, which may over time become detached.
